Questions
Frequently asked.
What is an EHR, and why does my facility need one?
An electronic health record (EHR) is a digital record of each patient’s care — registration, vitals, consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions, lab and imaging results, admissions and billing. Instead of paper folders and separate tools, every department works from the same up-to-date record, so information follows the patient.
Which departments does Curracare cover?
Ten department modules: reception & registration, nursing & triage, doctor consultations (SOAP notes and e-prescriptions), laboratory, radiology, pharmacy & inventory, billing, medical records (Master Patient Index), management analytics and IT administration (audit logs and user access).
What do I get with the free trial?
One month of access to Curracare’s core clinical modules on desktop, web and mobile, including a guided sandbox with sample data. No credit card is required.
What does Curracare Standard include?
A one-time implementation of GHS 5,000 (~$330) covering facility setup and configuration, staff accounts and roles, onboarding and training, plus 3 months of dedicated maintenance. Maintenance plans start from GHS 700/month afterwards.
When do I need Curracare Custom?
Hospitals and multi-site networks that need multi-department admissions and ward workflows, custom integrations or data migration. Pricing starts from GHS 12,000 and we provide an itemised proforma for your board.
How is patient data protected?
Role-based access for every staff member, optional two-factor authentication, audit logs and encrypted connections — built in line with the principles of Ghana’s Data Protection Act (Act 843), GDPR and HIPAA. See our Security and Data Transparency pages for details.
